Project Manager in Nürnberg start 26.03 for 60 days

On behalf of our client we are looking for a project manager in Nürnberg. Start date is the 26th of March and duration are 60 days. Another location is negotiable.

Job specification:
Support the launch and daily business of the new Governance Office (GO). The GO has to set-up and steer global IT initiatives to reduce the costs of the internal IT, to set-up IT platforms for the global collaboration between all regions and to increase the business value of the internal IT. The GO is structured in the areas CIO board management, Center of Excellence Management, Project and Community Program Management, Financial Management, Governance Process Management and GO Support. The team will consist of about 5 FTE. The overall IT budget to be managed is about 200 Mio EURO / year.

Purpose
Design, implement and manage internal GO processes and tools.

Key accountabilities
- Design, implementation and management of program / project management processes in the central governance office and global initiatives
- Design, implementation and administration of the GBG CIO SharePoint portal (together with SharePoint development and -operation team)
- Design, implementation and management of IT Governance applications for KPI, Business Process Management and others
- Progress, issue and risk tracking and reporting of global initiatives
- Organization & documentation of meetings and steering committees
- experience as project management office in multinational initiatives, preferred with European, US and Asian scope
- very strong methodology knowledge (especially Prince2 and Cobit)
- very strong presentation and intercultural skills in cooperation with European, Asian and US people on management level
- very good knowledge about SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook; ideally basic programming knowledge
- strong English skills
